These Terms of Use apply to Memoria from Novawise Tech, including the iOS app currently listed as Diary Journal, Life Goals and the forthcoming Android app. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the terms of the platform through which you obtain it. Features and purchase options vary by platform, version, and region; a description of one platform is not a promise of availability on another.
Using Memoria
You may use Memoria for its intended journaling and personal-organization features, subject to these terms and the applicable store terms. Use the app lawfully and only add, import, or share content you have the right to use. Do not misuse the recovery service, bypass access controls, interfere with service operation, or use automated requests to abuse our infrastructure.
You remain responsible for your content and for deciding what to share or export. You retain your rights in the content you create. Fonts, artwork, prompts, app software, and other supplied materials remain subject to their owners' rights and any applicable licenses; access through the app does not transfer ownership of those materials.
Storage, sync, and recovery
Keep suitable copies of important journals and check that an export or backup can be read before relying on it. Local storage, optional iCloud sync on iOS, and operating-system backup or device transfer serve different purposes. Availability and restoration depend on your device, account, storage, connection, and the relevant provider. We do not guarantee uninterrupted synchronization or recovery of lost content.
App lock restricts access through the app and does not itself encrypt journal files, exported copies, or backups. Keep your lock and recovery credentials secure. Optional email recovery can authorize an app-lock reset, but does not restore deleted journals or guarantee recovery if the required credentials or email access are lost. A recovery-email binding is not a Memoria account.
Use deletion and service controls deliberately. Removing the app does not delete cloud copies or recovery-email bindings and does not cancel a subscription. See the Privacy Policy for the different data and backup lifecycles.
iOS purchase options
Where offered, paid iOS features may be available through recurring subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase. The purchase screen and Apple's confirmation show the actual product, price, billing period, trial eligibility, and terms available to you. No particular price, plan, trial, or feature is promised by this page. The Android version described here does not offer in-app purchases.
Apple processes payments using your Apple Account. A recurring subscription renews automatically until canceled through Apple's subscription settings. A free trial, when offered and eligible, converts to the paid subscription shown at purchase unless canceled in time. Follow Apple's displayed deadline; Apple advises canceling a trial at least 24 hours before it ends.
A lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-recurring entitlement to the features identified in its purchase offer. It is not a recurring subscription and does not promise that every future product or separate service is included or that the app will operate indefinitely on every device.
Cancellation, restoration, and refunds
Manage or cancel Apple-billed subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting an entry, disabling a feature, contacting support, or uninstalling Memoria does not cancel Apple billing. Apple's cancellation instructions are available at https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428.
Use Restore Purchases in a supported app version with the Apple Account used for the original purchase to restore eligible entitlements. Restoration is subject to Apple's records and the product's eligibility; it does not restore your journal files. See https://support.apple.com/en-us/108096.
Apple handles refund requests for Apple-billed purchases under its applicable policies and your consumer rights. Approval is not guaranteed by Novawise Tech. Instructions are available at https://support.apple.com/en-us/118223. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Optional services and availability
Optional online content, recovery emails, store services, iCloud, and system backups depend on third-party services and may be delayed, unavailable, or subject to their own terms and limits. Memoria does not promise that downloads, email delivery, synchronization, or backups will always complete. Check results before deleting an original or relying on a recovery action.
The Android app is coming soon. Its described public feature set does not include Google sign-in, Google Drive journal sync, or purchases. These terms do not grant access to unreleased features or promise a release date. The iOS and Android apps need not offer the same capabilities or share purchases.
Personal use and service limitations
Journal prompts, mood records, and personal insights are tools for reflection. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or an emergency service. Use your own judgment when acting on content or personal observations recorded in the app.
We cannot guarantee that the app is error-free, works with every device or file, or prevents every loss or unauthorized access. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and optional services are provided as available. These terms do not exclude any warranty, remedy, or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes, privacy, and contact
We may update the app, supported features, and these terms. Changes to paid offers remain subject to the purchase terms, platform rules, and applicable law. We will update the date on this page and provide additional notice when required. You can stop using the app at any time; separately manage subscriptions, optional service bindings, and stored copies as described above.
